What is Thank You Plant Medicine Day?

On February 20th, people around the world will be publicly sharing their stories of gratitude for plant medicines and psychedelics using the hashtag #ThankYouPlantMedicine, in a collective effort to raise awareness and end the stigma surrounding these tools for healing.

On February 20st we (#ThankYouPlantMedicin) plan to have 100+ virtual sharing circles available for people to connect with each other on-line.

In solidarity with hundreds of organizations worldwide, let’s work together to generate a global wave of gratitude to end the stigma and change how these medicines are perceived in society.

Get Involved

We encourage our community to get involved by sharing a story, on February 20th, in whatever way feels most comfortable, either with your loved ones, or on social media by text, photo or video, using the hashtag #ThankYouPlantMEdicine.

Also:

• Sign the pledge on the TYPM website to stay informed about the movement.
• Join the TYPM Facebook Group.

Please bring relevant stories, poems, artwork to share. We also recommend showing up with a curious attitude and open mind.

Join Altered States Integration in a safe online space to talk about altered states of consciousness that are induced by psychedelics and/or spiritual emergence.

This is a great opportunity to share stories and insights and to dive deeper into your experience in a safe, like-minded, and supportive community. We also welcome those who are simply curious about psychedelics and their potential for healing and transformation.

Integration Circle Rules

After our ICE-BREAKER, we will open up the circle 1st to people who would like to integrate a specific experience. Shares are given up to 5 min. we will then ask if the person would like to receive reflections and we will open the floor for 2-3 reflections. At that point we will then move to the next share.

If no one feels called to share a personal experience we will open the circle to questions and general conversations. Please limit shared times to allow responses.

We are also going to ask everyone to:

- Speak from personal perspective

- No Advice Giving

- Bring an open mind

- Confidentiality “what happens in Zoom, stays in Zoom”

- No Recording of ANY kind

- Silence all electronic devices

- Avoid distractive behavior: eating, multitasking, driving

- Mute mic when not talking

- avoid crosstalk

- Participation! We request that everyone participates on some level. That can look like: just turning on your camera, or participating in the check in verbally or via the chat. This is for the comfort of the group and everyone who is showing up and sharing vulnerably

- No Solicitation of Substances or Promotion of Retreats (see disclaimer)
